After arriving at the Tiger pep rally, all I could focus on was the number of young families attending the spirit event. As photojournalists, not only do we illustrate what is taking place at a given event, but we show what the event feels like. I had always wanted to make an image with the Tiger helmet car, and it reminded me of all the strollers being pushed around. So I waited with my main focus on the helmet car until the right layered combination of strollers filled the frame. Michelle Wheeler was just walking by as Collene Parsons was taking a photo of her daughter in front of the helmet. The added attention of two student athletic board members helped make the frame well rounded. I thought it was a fun representation of the family event. — Parker Eshelman .
Women over 40 at three times the risk of stillbirth
London, Feb 11 : With an increasing number of women choosing to give birth when they're in their late 30s or early 40s, a new study has boffins in the US is warning that women who have a baby after they turn 40 are at an increased risk of stillbirth.Boffins already know that conditions such as pre eclampsia, problems with the position of the placenta which hamper natural delivery, and diabetes can increase the risk of still birth, and carried out the study to find whether age is also a factor. As a part of the research they looked at over 11 million babies born to women aged 15 to 44 between 1995 and 1997. After excluding maternal complications and congenital abnormalities in the foetus, the researchers were then left with the medical histories of six million babies. Based on the data from the US Centers for Disease Control, which registered the deaths of babies, the boffins found that women who give birth between the ages of 40 to 44 are at three times the risk of stillbirth than women aged 25 to 29.

United strollers increase pressure
When Jos Mourinho talked about Manchester United having a tough run-in, this was one of the fixtures that he would have marked down as problematic for the league leaders. So the Chelsea manager will not have enjoyed the sight of Sir Alex Ferguson’s team running out such overwhelming victors at White Hart Lane that they could put John O’Shea in goal for the last ten minutes and laugh while they were at it. It was a hugely impressive, emphatic response to Chelsea raising their game, as the defending champions undoubtedly have done in the past couple of Barclays Premiership matches. United must still go to Anfield and Stamford Bridge, but this was the sort of joyful triumph that will put them in good heart for any sort of road trip. A six-point gap is not much, but what was notable here is that United played like champions.
